When I started my blog I did not know what I was doing, I started it for fun because it was a new thing back in 2008. Now things have totally changed and the blogging game is a real business. You can earn money from your blog or even gain business opportunities from having a blog!
Ask yourself, why do you want to start one? What’s unique, what’s different, what will make you stand out? Make sure you write these differences down and be true to yourself. These points will be the guiding principles as you create content for your blog.
Choose your platform. If you want to blog as a source of side income (or main income) then you should choose a self-hosted platform like bluehost they have excellent customer support and user-friendly control panel. Best of all using my link it’s only 3.95 per month so it’s so affordable to start up your new blog. Your primary fashion blog should be a made with Bluehost if you can afford it in terms of money, time and energy. If not, try making a free blog with Weebly. But honestlybluehost is the best and you can start your blog today for as little as 3.95
You have to know who your audience is and how they interact with you. Choose your niche and find your voice. There are several niches you can work on with a fashion blog.
Your new best friend is Instagram. Instagram is a MUST HAVE, especially for fashion bloggers.
High-quality content really is the most essential thing.Consistent blogging always help you to earn the name and fame in the blogging world. If you want to make your fashion blog grow in popularity, one thing that you can do is publishing some significant content without fail.
You have to know yourself well enough to build your brand.
The most successful bloggers are those with true personality. no doubt that, writing genuine and engaging content is always easier when it comes from the heart.
Before you start creating content, make a list of about 15–20 blog post topics you want to write about. And start with the one you absolutely want to do. Once you’ve chosen the topic, start doing the groundwork for it. Photoshoots, research etc.

What If You Could...
I am wearing my new dress with hand illustrated hands which are made from one of my drawings in my sketchbook. The two finger symbol itself is a popular so I decided to turn it into a bold print for one of my dresses. I wanted to say a huge thank you to all those who joined my online classes! I hope you enjoy the sewing lessons! and if you haven't already check out my newest skillshare class about creating your own handmade print designs. It's free to join if you use this link. https://skl.sh/2OWcdrO
This is my newest sewing project. I gave it a high neckline with short sleeves and a stretchy band to shape the waist line. I also made my own print design. This was a print design from a watercolour drawing. Combined with another watercolour illustration that I have done.
I have the words I am strong, I am beautiful and I love me to represent the power of we have in our own minds with positive affirmations. I believe the mind is powerful when you send it positive vibes. I really love how handmade the print looks. The watercolour painting really gives it that effect.
I can't imagine how difficult it used to be for independent designers to make their own prints. I'm so glad that now we have all the tools that we need and it's easier than ever now to create your own prints. I want you to be inspired to be free and to design whatever you like.
